John Mercurio of The Hill says it's
Gillibrand. That's a huge disappointment for women, Gov. Paterson. And as a true upstater, those of us that live West of Albany don't consider her an upstate choice at all. Once again, experience has been left at the wayside. Although she wasn't my choice, I wish Gillibrand well and hope she turns out to be a strong advocate of women and women's rights.

Many feminists are happy with either of these qualified women: Gillibrand or Maloney. Gillibrand was a strong supporter of HIllary, refused to go along with Pelosi.
I am not many feminists. I am a New Yorker who was pulling for a women with vast experience in promoting women's issues. Other than being pro-choice, Gillibrand hasn't done anything for women.
She is also pro-gun and opposed the efforts of cities in NY to enact measures that keep illegal guns out of the hands of criminals and co-sponsored legislation that protects dealers who sell guns illegally.
I didn't know that she supported Hillary in the election.
Could you send me a link?
What is wrong with you Cyn? Two years? That is vast experience in this day and age! The new paradigm. (sigh....gag)
